If you haven't heard of the conference by now (doubtful), it's a 3-day event where you get to learn about Flex and AIR from Adobe and members of the community willing to share their knowledge.

I'm very pleased to be presenting along with the likes of Ben Forta, Christophe Coenraets, Jeff Houser and others. My session will focus on the integration between a series of AIR apps we've built for companies like Avaya, Seagate and Honeywell, and the ColdFusion-based licensing and maintenance infrastructure that supports those applications.

Licensing and the monetization of AIR applications are sure to be hot topics this year in our community, so my hope is to weigh in on that front with a real-world case study where we've dealt with those issues for our products. I'll talk about the challenges we faced initially as well as some of the ongoing ones and how we've addressed them.

Have no fear, while this is a case study, the presentation will definitely include code samples (Flex/AIR and ColdFusion) as well as demonstrations.

If you have not yet registered or are still on the fence about attending, don't delay any further. This will be a great opportunity to learn from a lot of knowledgeable people and make connections while you're down there. I already see a lot of sessions I'll be sitting in on.
